How to strengthen children’s immunity when returning to school

September is always a new beginning – children return to school, and parents strive to make this period full of knowledge and, of course, as healthy as possible. The school environment increases the risk of spreading infections, so it is important to think about children’s immunity in advance. Here are some simple yet effective tips.

🥦 Nutrition – the foundation of a strong immune system

Proper and high-quality nutrition is the first condition for children’s health. During the day, they should receive:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables – a natural source of vitamins,
  • Protein-rich foods (meat, fish, eggs, dairy products),
  • Whole grains and nuts – for energy and fiber.

Try to limit fast food, sugary drinks, and excessive sweets that weaken the body.

💊 Vitamins and Minerals

When transitioning from summer to autumn, the body often experiences a lack of vitamins. Especially important are:

  • Vitamin C (oranges, kiwi, bell peppers),
  • Vitamin D (sunlight, fish, certain supplements),
